I am finally back up with AO — found an old back up which worked when my current one wouldn't. I lost some data but not too bad. I don't really want to learn a new program but AO's new tech support policy (not to mention their new phone answering policy) is very scary, which seems to substantiate the rumors that they won't be around for long.
By the way, Jim, thank you for the AO cd. My partner is new to the program and found it very helpful.

Sean is right. The grass is not greener. I think an upgrade to IE7 would be a good move regardless. Let me know more specifically what is going wrong and perhaps I can diagnose your problem…

I have used Top Producer for 18 years, and there are ALWAYS trade-offs.
i.e. Top Producer has more lag times when using it. TP is harder to navigate. TP has a bigger learning curve. You don't own your own data, etc. etc.
I'm sure Jim will weigh in on this one.
I would wait for something better to come along – Jim is always getting solicitied, and checking out anybody who has something they thing is better, but I don't think it's happened yet.

After reading the problems encountered with AO in our forum I amwondering if Top Produecer is not a better choice since it is internet based. I too have problems with AO and am at the point where I think I need to uninstall the current version 9 and reinstall it. I cannot send emails from my current version on my computer. I am using IE6 and think I have to upgrade IE before reinstalling AO.
